Sketchy Refs - Jimmy

On to more TF2 OCs!

This is Jimmy, my BLU Scout. He's the youngest on the base and is sort of like the team baby, though he would be very disgruntled if you told him this and probably try to clock you in the head with a baseball bat. Actually Jimmy is a startlingly friendly person, despite having a nasty mess of a personal history.

The second oldest of five boys, Jimmy grew up poor in the slums with a young and abusive father and a mother who wasn't strong enough to do anything about it. He dropped out of school at 16 and began to amass a criminal record, vandalism and shoplifting and assault. He only ever liked his older brother, Bobby, who was killed in a gang fight that left Jimmy barely alive when he was 18. It was shortly after that loss that Jimmy decided there was nothing left for him in Boston and he joined up with BLU to get out. He is now 19 and rather likes his job, having cheered up considerably since leaving home.

Despite being forced to grow up a little too fast just to basically survive in the slums while avoiding home, Jimmy does still have a lot of boyish habits. He is very emotionally immature, impatient, rarely knows what he wants, and has almost no ability to be introspective. He is, however, quite observant of others and of his surroundings in general. He runs like the wind when he wants to, and has a deeply ingrained desire to make himself useful to the team, essentially his new adopted family, always focusing on the goal of the mission before batting heads (though he enjoys that too).

On the side, Jimmy loves graffitti and often has a bag full of spray paint, tagging whatever parts of the base he likes. He also likes to catch and keep 'gross' animals like frogs and insects. Naturally he's a pretty big Red Sox fan, and although he's relatively tonedeaf and can't dance for shit, is often listening to the radio.
