Tengu

This is Jiro. He's a tengu-- for those of you who don't know, that's a type of japanese youkai usually based on a crow. C:

He carries a fan of his own feathers capable of stirring cyclone-strength winds, and a red mask that allows him all sorts of Tengu abilities, namely disguising himself as a human or as a crow. The disadvantage to this is that these physical items can be stolen and used by other people, and Jiro is very easily tricked.

Jiro is cocky, arrogant and aggressive, and though moderately intelligent he is painfully gullible. He doesn't like most people, but is extremely protective of those he does like, if grudgingly so. He loves alcohol a little too much, is a silly/happy drunk, and can balance in his single-tooth tengu-geta (sandals) no matter what state he's in. He enjoys perching in high places and watching people. Old-fashioned and traditional at nearly 400 years old, Jiro still wears traditional tengu robes and gets plenty of odd looks on the street.
